I was invited to participate in this project by Darrin Umboh from Leyp. A selection of Dutch illustrators and artists got some old school Adidias’ to customize them. I was inspired by the so called ‘Dazzle’ paintings, known from WW-1 warship camouflage patterns. I changed the brand from Adidas to Katipalism, which is my ongoing project around a cat figure. Earlier work I did with the Katipalism mark was a mural at the Blaak 10 gallery, and a window-display with Katipalism products at Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam.
