I was invited to participate in this project by Darrin Umboh from Leyp. A selection of Dutch illustrators and artists got some old school Adidias’ to customize them. I was inspired by the so called ‘Dazzle’ paintings, known from WW-1 warship camouflage patterns. I changed the brand from Adidas to Katipalism, which is my ongoing project around a cat figure. Earlier work I did with the Katipalism mark was a mural at the Blaak 10 gallery, and a window-display with Katipalism products at Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam. The total sneaker collection is on display at the Sneakeraddicts exhibitions and parties. The first is saturday 31 March at B.G. in Amsterdam, in the Post CS building. Expo starts from 5:00, party starts from 23:00. Participating artists (ao): Piet Parra, Mr. Feaver, Luuk Bode, Erik Kriek, Sharim Gubbels, Transister, DC, Eefje, Han Hoogerbrugge, David Gilmour Girls, Dumboh (leyp), Nuck de kwartmoluk.
