This cinema in the heart of Rotterdam still breathes the good old 60-ties movie-going experience, so we wanted to show this in the website. The aim was for the homepage to become like a dynamically rendered 60-ties movieposter.
The programme is featured in different colors; premieres are red, kids movies are blue, special features are green and expected movies are ocre. The regular programme is featured black and white.
The homepage ‘knows’ when you enter the site, and will show only the first 8 movies that are on. Thus creating a unique front page (with different color-scemes) every 2 hours or so.
On the left it shows the movie-week (running from thursday to thursday). All movies can be viewed here as a list per day, and as the week progresses less days are featured. Nick also completely updated the custom back-end, all tailor made for the Cinerama theatre.
